About Kaffe

Kaffe Fassett is a best-selling author, textile artist and designer. He has attracted many fans throughout the world in the decorative arts of knitting, needlepoint, patchwork, painting and mosaic. Kaffe has hosted his own TV series 'Glorious Color' and was the first ever living artist to have a one man show at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Kaffe also designs wallpapers for the Designer Guild, patchwork fabrics for Rowan and Westminster Fibres, and interior accessories for Pine Cone Hill.

Among the 24 published books to date are titles such as 'Kaffe Knits Again', 'Passionate Patchwork', 'Mosaic', and 'Kaffe's Pattern Library'.

In 1985, Kaffe launched a needlepoint project on the TV programme 'Pebble Mill at One', inviting anyone across the country to needlepoint an image of their favourite thing, no bigger that 6 inches square. Over 2,600 entries were sent forming the Pebble Mill at One Heritage Tapestry which was on show at Chatsworth House until it moved to Harewood House.
