Kaffe Fassett Studio - Summer Newsletter - July 2010

Hello Hello from a warm London,

For some time I've been working on getting Kaffe's film 'Kaffe's Colour Quest' available as a DVD both in the USA as well as the UK as a mail order from Ehrman Needlepoint but now the USA can purchase the film through Amazon.com as a download. Please note due to Amazon's copyright restrictions - only folks in the USA can download and view this online video.

For those interested in Needlepoint - Ehrman have also just released their summer catalogue. The catalogue also features a range of beautiful silk scarves designed by Kaffe as well as other artists. Kaffe has just returned from Rowan with a box full of his quilts featured in previous books which we have just sent out to his family restaurant Shop in Big Sur, California. I have been working with a UK based company called 'Peruvian Knitwear' designing a range of Alpaca garments. For more info on their mail order and designs please take a look here .

Kaffe and my diary is chock a block with workshop and exhibition dates for the rest of this year. We have just put on our website calendar events pages dates for the Korean, New Zealand and Australia dates for early next year with contact information where we will be too.

Some of the major shows we have coming up between now and December are 'The Festival of Quilts' Birmingham, UK where we will be launching the latest Rowan Quilt Magazine 'Quilts En Provence' (pre-order now from Amazon US / UK ), European Quilt Festival, Alsace, France sponsored by Quilt Mania, a five week workshop tour of Canada and the West coast of the USA ending in Houston at the 'Quilt Market.'
